Copper Nickel Flanges consist mainly of copper (Cu) and nickel (Ni), with popular alloys such as 90/10 (90% Cu, 10% Ni) and 70/30 (70% Cu, 30% Ni). Iron and manganese are added in small quantities to provide strength and corrosion resistance. These flanges have very good mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 350-485 MPa, yield strength of 110-135 MPa and elongation of 30% (min). Their physical properties are a density of 8.94 g/cm³, melting point of 1100-1240°C, and high thermal and electrical conductivity, which makes them strong, enduring, and resistant to harsh conditions.
