Copper Nickel Stud Bolts contain mainly 90% copper and 10% nickel and are very resistant to corrosion, particularly in seawater and marine applications. Their properties include high tensile strength of the order of 550 MPa and satisfactory elongation and hence they can be used effectively for applications carrying stresses. They have high fatigue strength and are good welders too.
