Incoloy bars are nickel-chromium alloys mostly consisting of nickel (40-75%), iron and chromium with molybdenum, copper and titanium added for improved corrosion resistance. They possess superior mechanical properties such as tensile strength between 550-800 MPa, yield strength between 240-550 MPa and elongation of 30-50% depending on the grade. Incoloy bars possess high-temperature strength, resistance to oxidation and better toughness. Their physical characteristics involve a density level of around 8.0 g/cm³, melting temperature around 1350-1400°C and good heat conductivity, hence suited for tough applications under severe conditions.
