Inconel Wire consists mainly of nickel (approximately 72%), chromium (14-17%), and iron, with minor additions of molybdenum and titanium. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of 130,000 to 200,000 psi, as well as excellent creep and fatigue resistance at high temperatures. Physically, Inconel Wire possesses a very high melting point of approximately 1,400°C and minimal thermal expansion, making it well suited for use in aggressive environments, including gas turbines, heat exchangers, and aerospace parts.
