Monel Alloy Sheets and Plates consist mainly of approximately 63% Nickel, 29% Copper, with minor additions of iron, manganese, and other constituents. They possess very good mechanical properties, with tensile strength between 550-750 MPa, yield strength of 250-450 MPa, and elongation between 30-40%. The hardness is normally 60-85 HRB. Monel sheets and plates are physically 8.8 g/cm³ dense and have a melting point of about 1,400°C. These features exhibit high resistance against corrosion, especially seawater, acids, and alkalis, and possess durability and performance for long-term use.
