Bristow Nickel Alloys is a reliable exporter and supplier of quality metal alloys in Midland, UK. We deal primarily with Monel wire highly acclaimed for high strength, durability and ability to resist corrosion. Our testing includes rigorous Monel wire analysis of tensile strength, hardness, chemical analysis of composition, ultrasonic tests and measuring for dimensional precision. With rigorous quality control and precision engineering, we provide consistent and high-performance Monel wire with superior durability, strength, and consistency for critical applications.
Monel Wire consists mainly of Nickel (63% minimum) and Copper (27-33%), with trace amounts of Iron (2% max), Manganese (2% max), Carbon (0.3% max), and Silicon (0.5% max). It has very good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 480-620 MPa, yield strength of 170-345 MPa, elongation of 20-40%, and up to 100 HRB hardness. Its physical properties are a density of 8.8 g/cm³, melting point of 1350-1390°C, thermal conductivity of 22 W/m·K, and electrical resistivity of 0.51 µΩ·m, which makes it very strong and corrosion-resistant.
