Super Duplex Steel Bars contain around 25% chromium, 7% molybdenum, 4% nickel, and nitrogen, with the balance of iron. This makeup gives superior strength, superior resistance to corrosion, and excellent pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. The mechanical characteristics are a minimum tensile strength of 80 ksi (550 MPa) and a yield strength of 50 ksi (345 MPa). The material is denser with 7.8 g/cm³ and has a melting point at approximately 1350°C (2462°F). The bars are perfect for high-temperature, high-pressure applications demanding long-term durability and long-lasting operation.
