Titanium Coil is generally produced from commercially pure titanium (Grade 2) or titanium alloys such as Ti-6Al-4V. The alloying elements comprise minor additions of vanadium, aluminum, and other elements, and the composition contains 94-98% titanium. The mechanical properties involve 15-20% elongation, yield strength of 480-1,100 MPa, and tensile strength of 550-1,200 MPa. The physical characteristics are a density of 4.43-4.51 g/cm³, a melting point of 1,660°C, and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater, acids, and high temperature conditions. These coils find applications in aerospace, marine, and chemical industries.

Titanium Coil Uses

Titanium Coils are applied in applications where strength, corrosion resistance, and light weight are necessary. In aerospace, they are utilized in producing heat exchangers, aircraft parts, and turbine blades because they can sustain harsh conditions. Marine applications use titanium coils for seawater systems and offshore platforms with corrosion resistance. Chemical processing industries apply them in reactors, heat exchangers, and piping systems that process aggressive chemicals. Also, titanium coils are employed in medical devices and the automotive industry for light, strong parts.
